Sub-Acute Rehabilitation
Our goal in the rehabilitation department is to restore function to residents' lives.
Rehabilitation services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and
respiratory therapy. Treatment plans are tailored to meet each individual resident's needs.
Our team of specialists have developed long and short term programs with the intent of maximizing
function and enhancing the level of independence. Our team of professional therapists guide
each resident through the recovery process, working closely with the resident and family members.
The hard work of the intense therapy becomes enjoyable when tempered by a warm caring approach
from our dedicated staff. Our short term rehab program is designed to assist residents who have
sustained a fracture, hip/joint replacements, stroke, etc. to rejoin the community as quickly as
possible. They make all arrangements for discharge including home attendants, visiting nurses
and specialized adaptive equipment. Even after a resident goes back home, our team of therapists
are always available for advice and recommendations.
